Black Plague crashes at Kennel

I am at a save called "Kennel" and I go to get the key card, and on my way back after I have made it past the hallway staying in the lights I go to the right and go down the hall to the door that loads to the next area I need to get to. It loads for a few seconds, then takes me to my desktop and bring up BlackBox that says "penumbra.exe caused an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION in module penumbra.exe at 001B:005014D5" I have tried deleting my settings.cfg, no luck. My video driver is up to date, and I have tried starting from a save instead of auto save. I just bought the game off Steam and I can't play it, can someone help me?

Try verifying the steam cache.. right click on penumbra in steam, properties > local files > verify integrity of local cache.

Yeah that worked, I saw a post saying that (I think it was from you) and it said 47 files failed to verify and it fixed it, so thanks.
