Whenever I try to run the game it gets stuck before it can fully open.

The icon bounces in the system tray and the Steam window that says, "Preparing to launch blablabla" opens and closes rapidly as if its going halfway though the process of getting everything ready and then it crashes and retries.

I dont know if theres is a known fix for this or not.

What version of Mac OS X are you using.

Have you restarted your computer (or at least logged out/back in)?

Can run the "Console" application (in Applications - Utilities) and copy/paste anything new that gets added when you try and run the game?

Have you tried reinstalling Steam? Have you tried verifying the local cache for Amnesia? (right-click or control-click on Amnesia, choose properties then Local files, and finally "Verify Integrity of Game Cache"

This looks to be a steam issue. Could you run the demo? did you play the "steam" demo or the separate downloadable demo?
