Hey guys,

After heating my cpu to the point of causing damage (during a marathon gaming session with Amnesia, ironically.) I've been eyeing a new laptop with an ATI Radeon HD 4250. Does anyone here have that chipset? If so, how does the game run? Any answers would be great.

Thanks. Smile

The game should run pretty decently on medium, maybe even high if you turn down/off SSAO. I don't have that exact card, but I've worked with similar cards.

Be careful, if the next laptop has Intel embedded card and an AMD one the game will only see the Intel one and in most cases you will not be able to play the game or play it with the Intel one with low graphics. So, either make sure that the next laptop does not have an Intel embedded card as well or buy a laptop with a Nvidia card. There is no problem with them.
