Downloaded game-serial number not valid

I just Payed for the download version of Penumbra. I went through the whole install process and got to the activation box when I tried to run the program. I put in the serial number given to me on the website under my purchase but it continues to give me an invalid serial number message. I tried it several times copy and paste and putting it in myself. I even rebotted and still the same problem. any one have any ideas for me? I have emailed Gamersgate but I haven't received a reply. It is the weekend and I was hoping to start playing the game. I hope not to have to wait till business hours on Monday. Thank you .

You'll have to wait for GamersGate to reply, we have no insight on their serial/distribution system. They do not work on weekends, so expect a reply on Monday.

umm im kinda having the same problem .. i bought the game today from the FG store and i already installed it but when i try to openthe game it asks for a serial number. the serial number appears in my email(i think that is the code) and when i put it it doesnt do anything, just another window appears asking me for the serial number again. help me please ? Big Grin

ok. i tried again with requiem and black plague .. it worked with those two ; but overture doesnt seem to open. when i put the serial it happens what i stated above Angry

We are looking into it, while waiting you can download the 1.1 patch from support.frictionalgames.com to solve the problem.

thank you man, everything is resolved. really appreciate the help im looking forward to seeing some new games ^.^. i really love all of them and i hope you guys make it like extremely big sometime (:

I always would buy games through official "frictional games store".
