According to Auzentech's driver page:
http://www.auzensupport.com/site/download/updates.php

They've fixed a driver BSOD when using OpenAL in 64bit Windows. If you try to play Amnesia with the X-Fi OpenAL device, you're liable to BSOD quickly and get a ctaud2k.sys reference in the BSOD. Same thing happens in Killing Floor, Red Orchestra, and other Unreal Engine 2.5 games when using 64bit Win7 and OpenAL so it's a driver problem.

I was wondering if anyone has tried this. I have a Creative X-Fi and hope they fix this problem in their driver so I can straight-up use OpenAL instead of using work-arounds.

Just curious if it's actually fixed and Amnesia no longer BSODs.
