What resolution are you playing it? Try turning it down to something safe like 800x600 and see if that works.

1440x900. Though the game doesn't support this natively, it's still possible to use this resolution by modifying settings.cfg. I'll try running it at a lower resolution. Too bad my display isn't capable of keeping the right aspect ratio when I play games with lower resolutions than 1440x900. I'll have to run it in a window.
