What you could do would be to use such a walk animation instead of the lantern idle(or you could have both the lantern and the character in there). It would however be difficult or impossible to make sure the character only uses walk animation when moving and not when standing still. You could possibly do something with the function PlayPropAnimation(), where you detect player speed using a timer and trigger them based on that, but it is doubtful that the already animated lantern will support that.
