Incorrect mouse movements.

Hey guys, I've looked all over for a solution for my problem but can't seem to find what I'm looking for. So...

I've just recently started playing Amensia Dark Descent. I have it on steam. Anyways when I start playing and wake up on the floor every movement I make with the mouse tends to make me look at the floor. It spins around at times, has jerking almost lag like motion, and sometimes skips almost like its frame drops. When I move the mouse extremely slowly it sometimes works.

I've tried the settings at the lowest possible settings and other random fixes for similar problems people have. I should also note I have a NVidia 770 32gbs ram and an intel i7. My computer handles games like battlefield 4 no problem. If anyone would help me fix my game I would really appreciate it!
