Screen Shots & Videos Won't Work In Full Screen

The title says it all, I've seeked help on the Desura forums because I bought it from there, with no help made. So I'll seek help from the main creators.

When I'm playing Amnesia in full screen mode, I can't take videos nor screenshots. It'll just show my desktop. (Screenshot of what I'm talking about below. >.>)

It'll show Amnesia running in the toolbar, but it won't actually show the game and what's going on. Is there a solution to this? Or will it be like this forever.

When not in full screen mode, screen-shots and videos work fine. But it brings a difficulty because my window thing always moves on me so the video isn't recording the right area. Lol

I blocked out most things on my desktop. If you absolutely need my entire desktop, I'll provide.

F8 automatically takes screenshot, no need for external program.
Now, for video recording, what are you using?

Hypercam 2, and that short-cut key doesn't seem to work, or I don't know where the screenshots are saved.

And off-topic, you're that guy making white-knight right? I'm so pumped for it. :p It looks great.

Screenshots are saved in root directory, where your Amnesia.exe is.
I don't know if HyperCam 2 can't capture OpenGL applications. I can record videos with Fraps.

I still can't locate the screenshots, is there a specific folder they're in, or something? Lol sorry.

Fraps worked btw, thanks for that.
But... I got the unlicensed copy, and it seems to stop recording around 20-30 seconds in, is there a way to change that? I can't figure it out. :L

You can buy Fraps, or use xFire which is free.
Screenshoots are in your Amnesia installation folder. Do you know where your Amnesia.exe is? If not, search for it and look at that folder.

It's seriously not there, unless it's in the documents and not in the program files.

Usually it has to be in Program Files/Amnesia/redist folder or Program Files (x86)/Amnesia/redist if it is 64 bit OS.

I don't have a redist file. Does this mean I'm screwed out of screenshots?

Your screens should be in that folder; but maybe because of some permission issues, game exe cannot create them. Did you try to run the game as admin?
