No graphics showing up? HELP!

I just downloaded this game, and the graphics showed up for the few messages in the beginning of the game, then once it showed to home screen, everything was black. I figured it was just a glitch but when I started a new game, I couldn't see anything I was doing. Please please please help!

You need to update the drivers for your graphics chip, sounds like you have an Intel integrated graphics. So downloadcenter.intel.com to get a new driver for you.

1. What operating system do you have? Also 32-bit or 64-bit?
2. Is it a laptop or a desktop? If a laptop, what model?
3. Attach me here the file HPL.log found under Documents\Amnesia\Main folder.

I have the exact same problem.. (is this hi-jacking a thread?) My main menu is completely black, with only the text (options) visible. Every thing the creator of this thread said is the same for me.. I'm running an HP Probook. (The newest model) So I know it's strong enough for the game. Is it just drivers

GFX Card: Intel® HD Graphics Family not the best but.. it should be enough.. right?

Again, sorry if I'm hi-jacking this thread.. It just seemed more convenient than creating a new thread about the exact same thing.

I have the same problem. I tried it in Ubuntu too, but I couldn't get it to load.

Toshiba Satellite P750 laptop
Windows 7 64-bit
Intel Core i5
Intel HD Graphics
6GB RAM
Running from Steam

Log shows you successfully entered the game, saw the main menu and exit.
Probably your graphic drivers are outdated, Pluto will provide a link I think

Your drivers are outdated but you can play Amnesia with Intel HD cards, especially the 3000 series that support OpenGL 3.1.

Use the have disk method to install the latest Intel HD drivers.
