I'm about ready to give up trying to play this, I'v tried everything to
get this to run. First I got the mouse stuck in corner thing fixed but
and now it seems to have an awful frame rate. Its pretty much unplayable
this way. I'v updated to the latest drivers for my graphics card, and
tried turning down all the setting to their lowest and even lowered the
resolution to 800x600 and put it in windowed mode. My pc specs are: AMD
Athlon XP 3000+ Barton core 2.1 GHz, EVGA GeForce 6200 512 meg 8x AGP, 2
gigs of RAM and running windows XP SP2. Anyone had this problem? Help
is much appreciated!

Well, what do you expect with such a system? It is ancient for gaming. Your whole computer can barely support the game so low frame rates is more than ok. Make sure everything is all the way down.

I would expect it to run atleast decently due to the fact that canyourunit.com analyzed my system and said it was more than enough, hence my question. I don't usually play PC games, so my knowledge on what is "ancient" and what is "fast" is limited. Not everyone can afford a new PC. Thank you so much anyway

First of all my reply was not very polite so sorry about that. Everyone has problems some days...

Secondly, the site you mentioned is not approved by FG and so whatever it is said there does not mean that it is true.

As for the ancient thing, your computer must be from 2006 or something. OpenGL 2.1 that this game requires can be found even at 2007-2008 machines.

Yes, what they said are min requirements and what FG says are different. And the PC is circa 2005 lol, I was hoping to get away running Amnesia with it but oh well, seems that its hardest on the CPU. I downloaded it from Amazon so I can always download again in the future, maybe when we get a new PC I'll grab the game again. Sucks that I can't play it though, it looks like a great game.
