RE: Screenshot criticism thread

Thanks for the feedback! Seeing as it's not just me that likes the idea, I'll add much more detail and post it again later on Smile

RE: Screenshot criticism thread

Also set the tiling lower on the textures.
And I'd use another texture for the ceiling.

Make it darker. It's really too light.
Try make it much darker, and then add lights to the map.
I know this is going away from the drawing, but if it can get better, then do it.
The walls doesn't look like the drawing either, so adding light wouldn't hurt. Smile

(I approve white night textures as walls, instead of those mansion base.)

Trying is the first step to success.

RE: Screenshot criticism thread

Here's a bit of an update on what I was working on earlier. Smile
I'm still fairly new to modding. If I could get some tips on particle systems, I'd be more than grateful.

How is my second draft, compared to first?

Now you've got details on, and that's great. Period.

Your floor could need lower texture tiling.
I'd still like some lights instead of this white light that is everywhere. But you're the one to decide this.

Not sure if referring to the picture or what.

RE: Screenshot criticism thread

What do you mean by lower texture tiling? And is the blood not a good touch?

I'd like to know what you guys think about the way I make the torch light up the surroundings.
