Shadows compliment the main source of light. If you're light is warm, the shadows will be cool. If you have a yellow light source (early morning light), then your shadows will be purply blue.
I'd suggest making it less orange, looks more like a sunset than sunrise to me :p

sunsets are usually more cool blue than bright red. as jellyfish up there said, warm reds are a more sunset-y feeling. sunrises should feel frigid, as though the earth is warming up from the cold of the night.

This is kind of what I meant with the lighting thing. Helps if your boxlight is dull blue and you make the spotlights/pointlights a bit of a sandy yellow colour.

Alright thnx for the tips guys, I tried messing around with some stuff and this is how it came up, is this better or worse lol, I tried your ideas as I really need to learn how real lighting works, but do you guys think this is good enough? Or does it need more improvements? ![[Image: 6qEzAf2.png?1]](http://i.imgur.com/6qEzAf2.png?1)

What age are we talking of? To be honest, the train looks pretty bad, in my opinion. Plus, the door doesn't seem like a train door.
Also, if it's a train station, maybe add a few benchs (people have to wait for trains, don't they?)

However, the scene is pretty original. Gotta say it's pretty well done

I'm trying to make a room look like it hasn't been entered in over 20 years. Any tips? ![[Image: Babyroom_zpsd30f94e7.png]](http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c45/DeangeloDaBear/Babyroom_zpsd30f94e7.png)

				Alrighty, tips it is:
Don't use those cobwebs. They're icky looking and stick out like sore thumbs.
Boxlight might need to be dimmer, I'd change the colour of the fog and the billboards to be darker and thinner, might want a fogbox for the air around everything (or some thin dim fog particles outside of just the spotlight). Possible edit the dirt static decal to be a sort of greyish white and using that to immitate dust on the floor.

Other than that, I like the arrangement of furniture in the room c:

Thanks. Its a room that is next to 3 other rooms and you're not supposed to know it's there till later so I have to be careful with my particles lest they clip into the other rooms. I just tossed the webs in because it's the only asset I can think of to make the room look old. I'm gonna try to find a way to make it look like everything is caked in a layer of dust.
