But as the second best chase scene I'd choose the Infected from Penumbra. Scared the shit out of me, especially the first encounter in Black Plague.

RE: What was the best chase scene in Penumbra/Amnesia?
Out of the ones you posted, the best for me was being chased by The Infected, but out of all chase scenes, I liked the Justine dungeon chase. I had to pause and take a break for a few minutes about every few seconds at times when I had to close the first door and open the second because I was shaking so much.

I guess the fact the with the rock worm chase is that if you die you can restart that part over and over again. But with the Justine chase scene, if you die, you have to restart the whole game again. Very annoying. So glad I did it first time

RE: What was the best chase scene in Penumbra/Amnesia?
Dunno, the only chase I found way too unexpected to me was the Brute chase in the sewers, when I was about to leave it. I mean c'mon, I lured him off with the rock, HOW DID HE SUDDENLY APPEARED BESIDE ME WITHIN MILLISECONDS?!
I know it is a damn script, but really, that is just way too made up and overplayed.

I'd hate to imagine haha. But it does keep the player on edge. Works on Justine cause it's a short dlc, but a really good one. The monster is kinda weird as well, creeps me out when you enter that room, all the lights go out and all you can here is that heavy breathing.
