*SOLVED* Amnesia launcher not running

just copy the save files from the old folder/profile to the same new folder and they should not have any problem unless the problem itself was the save files.

Okey doke thanks again. The problem wasn't the save files because I tried deleting them once from my profile like someone recommended on another forum but that didn't work so it'll be alright if I were to move them across . I'm now further than I was before and I'm now in the sewers and I have to say it's not the "nicest" place in the game

I'm having a problem running mine. I have all the files needed, and no matter how I open the launcher: As an admin, through the folder, or through steam it just won't run. Gives me a "Launcher.exe has stopped working" error. I don't know what to do. I have 20GB of HD space, plenty of Ram-it runs TF2 and other steam games, plus Slender and SCP Containment Breach-just fine. I have a Nvidia GeForce 6800GS/XT graphics card and I run Vista. This is the first time I've ever encountered this. My only issue is a minor amount of lag from gameplay since my computer is slow, but I am used to it and it doesn't make it impossible to play my games.

Verify the game cache via Steam. Here's how you can do so:

1. Right-Click the game in your Steam library
2. Click 'Properties'
3. Navigate to the 'Local Files' tab
4. Click 'Verify Integrity of Game Cache'

Now give it a minute or so do validate the files and it will re-download any bad or corrupt files.

I tried that, it didn't fix anything. I tried running as admin, that didn't do anything either.

After the issue occurs attach us the files HPL.log and Launcher.log found under Documents\Amnesia\Main folder.
