V-Sync not helping (Overture)

Hey... I have started to play Penumbra and have encountered the infamous screen tear issue. When I first gave Amnesia a little go I had the same problem but enabling V-Sync fixed it totally.

Even with V-Sync enabled on Overture I still get the screen tearing which is very annoying at times. I play on max settings with no problems other than this. I have a 24" Samsung SA300 LED DVI Monitor which has a refresh time of 60Hz.

So, I was hoping you guys could help me out here
