Amnesia was released at September 2010, before GTX 560 and it has a file that sets low, medium or high preset graphics at tested graphics cards. Yours is not on of them. Something is else is the problem and not the game. Maybe old drivers or other programs running in the background.

Yeah, I have, and I also get 50-60FPS on High. I'm still surprised that I get such FPS drops on my native resolution, since I can run Crysis on Very High at around 30fps on 1920x1080.

It is on, but if I turn it off, some graphical glitches occur. I don't think it gives any considerable FPS boost or anything.
check my reply above, that's it. Also, your graphics card is not that powerfull as you think. I have a GTX 460 and it is better that yours. That's because GTX 460 < GTX 560 Ti < GTX 660 Ti. At maximum graphics and 1920x1200 it was not at 60FPS that I wanted. Amnesia has some "heavy" graphics options.

I have to agree to that. I have to set SSAO res to medium to keep a good framerate. If it's at high, drop it down one and see how it goes. It's not a huge noticable difference, so the profit is good.

SSAO is one of the graphical options that really drag performance down.
Infrequently active. Don't expect an immediate response. Best to contact me at a different locale. If I create a thread, expect me to be quite active.
Hello, I am not sure exacly where this would fit so I just put it in off-topic.
since it seems like people are crying for info on machine for pigs i thought i would just share a little discovery i made.
This is a video showing the creation of one of the assets for AAMFP that was created by one of the artist on AAMFP for portfolio I believe.
What is interesting is that if you pause at about 4:07 and go high res full screen you should be able to see that the folders are identical to the ones in amnesia but with a few additions :greenhouse, factorybase, machine and spraylock?.
this is important information because it makes it very likely that TDD custom storys will be compatible with AAMFP, or at least not impossible to implement.
I would love to hear you opinion on this so dont hesitate :)
Lastly i like to apologize for not remembering the name of the artist or looking it up >.<
