RE: Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs Discussion
I hope AAMFP has a realistic inventory system. I like realistic inventory systems.

I hope AAMFP has cut scenes :p Seeing as Frictional have said multiple times that they don't like cut scenes and think it ruins immersion, I doubt it will.

I hope AAMFP will be inspiring and both scare the crap out of me, but also giving inspiration for custom maps...
Trying is the first step to success.

I hope AAMFP will have playable flashbacks - not just voices like in ATDD.

They mentioned in an interview that it probably won't have an inventory at all. As in, if you want to use an object somewhere you have to pick it up with your mouse and carry it there manually. The interview is pretty old though, so I don't know if they kept that idea.

Aah don't be so pessimistic Maybe it simply means they'll replace those standard "point n' click adventure" - type puzzles with more clever ones? I never found it thaaat appealing to just rub random items from my inventory on objects in the level

thechineseroom are smart folks - if the standard inventory is discarded then it will only be because they've devised a better method.

I concur that having a broom, pickax and a shovel in your invent is not manageable without backpack.
I personally didn't like it al that much when I had to carry cogwheels and coal all over the place or where I had to carry those pipes.
