So I was browsing some really old threads about "Lux tenebras"(Amnesia:tdd) and I found a thread called "Lux tenebras, better or worse" and they were talking about the monsters that they'd think would be in it and guess what this guy said:

When do we get an actual release date?

Sorry maybe I missed some stuff, but I think there's no release out already... ?
The only thing I know, is that it should come out in the first quarter of 2013...

They'll probably say a release date closer to the actual release, or in early 2013.

I doubt it'll come out in January or February.

They said they were finishing Alpha for christmas. And I don't know much about games, but a little hunting on Frictional's blog showed that Amnesia was in Alpha on February 5th and it was released on September 8th. Although it's worth noting that in the February post they were expecting the game to be finishing in a couple of months.

They've pushed the release date back, because the Alpha of the game was supposed to be finished by Today (Christmas)

I wish they will release it in the end of 2013 to make a really huge and profound game of it.
I think the game could need more and harder physical puzzles, longer story, more environments, some more exploration and better written texts which make the game more immersing (like Penumbra, not like Amnesia).
