You can already deduce that from the trailers. In the first, short teaser that came out, the monster was clearly bipedal when it broke down the door and walked into the room. In the Halloween teaser, when Oswald is in the slaughterhouse cages, the monster is scampering around on 4 (or more?) legs, so unless they've changed things, it looks like there's going to be multiple monsters.
The more, the merrier! (or scarier)

On a side note, it just dawned on me that this game has been pushed back so long since the first teaser that I hadn't even played TDD when I first saw the teaser, and I was scared shitless at the thought of playing the game. Now, I've played it so much, I only react to really bad jumpscares.
Damn, they're putting in the work. Props to them.
I agree with you about the creature being bipedal in the teaser, as you can make out a hand-esque thing, it seems to be walking upright, and its footsteps sound bipedal, but I'd have to disagree about the creature in the Halloween teaser. You can barely see the monster in the second teaser at all, just a small sliver, so I fail to see how we can claim it's a biped or a quadruped from that alone.
What's interesting, however, is what you hear if you listen to the Halloween teaser, with your eyes closed, and pay close attention to the footsteps. I definitely don't hear anything that sounds like a quadruped would sound. You can distinctly tell there's two seperate footsteps, Oswald's which are lighter, and the much heavier, quicker footsteps of the monster, which almost sound like their stepping in mud. However, if you listen very, very closely, at the 1:50 minute mark you can hear what sounds like a third set of tiny, soft footsteps running to the left of Oswalk, when he isn't moving. It doesn't sound anything like the monster, though it could just be the monster from the distance, or something else

Macabre living Creatures (Victims of an secret experiment out of control) just built up out of a mixture of sutured Pig & Human -body-parts . (very angry and dangerous because of their experienced tortures of course)

I am hoping there will be more than one or two monster types.

Interesting...I agree your quadraped busting, however, the two act very differently. The first is more of a brute-Type, like a gatherer from ADD and the second is more agile and quick. However, it could be speculated that they're the same one, who knows? We'll just have to wait and see...

I myself am still debating whether or not I like the lantern design, it seems to be more of a spotlight pointing in the direction you face than the lantern in TDD where it lets out a circular light around the player, and I am not sure if it's the video, but it doesn't seem to give off as much light as the TDD one does, and it is kind of big.
