Am I the only one that thinks we already know too much about the story? Let's sum it up what is now definitely known:
* Mandus runs a meat processing facility (letter)
* The machine was constructed by Mandus and it's a new invention (trailer)
* The machine needs a lot of meat (trailer)
* In order to get the required amounts of meat not only pigs are put into it (trailer) -> humans/children?
* Humans/children are fattened with lots of sausages (concept art)
* Orphan children work in his factory (letter)
* Mandus' own children are in danger when he awakes (interview)

I agree, it is too much. I think they shouldn't of put that letter up, and yet maybe our guesses are still completely in the wrong. Still, I hope there is no more of this, and that the next thing we get is simply the date of when the game will come out, then the game itself.

I'm not upset at all about missing the entire decoding of the letter. I am quite set on giving FG and thechineseroom my money for this. But I do hope this is the last 'clue' we're given...

I have a theory, but I'm afraid to share it...

Anyway, I won't. I may keep away for a while, just visit the main webpage for a sign of a release date.

Still, I do hope this means that the game is just about finished, and set on coming out.

Hardarm and i have calculated the release date over a steam chat (And a lengthy one ). It's 1st of April. We calculated just like this. Both images are img01_63ou and img02_lasoc45. 63 and 45 simplified is 7/5. That means 7th of July. But, that doesn't mean it's the release date as it was announced Q2. So, we divided 7 and 5 and got 1.4 which is 1st of April. PLEASE REMEMBER AS IT IS STILL PURE SPECULATION.
EDIT: 1st of April may be the date they're gonna be the day when they announced the release date.
