Wha... What? The trees look great! They seriously look almost real...
The textures looks good. But they look pixel-like and almost like they're in 2D to me .
Yeah, the trees seem really flat, but I have to disagree with the fact that it looks pixel-like. These are the best trees I've ever seen, actually. They definitely beat the Skyrim trees. ._. (although I might be the only one who didn't like those)
I think those trees look darn impressive. I didn't like the Skyrim trees either

My question is, do horror fans also play racing games?
This here is not a "normal" racing game. It's goint indie now, it's a Community Associated Racing Sim.
I think, there are coming out some excellent games next year!
Yeah, I don't really like racing games, so getting this for the graphics only would be pretty pointless for me. ^^ But its interesting to see how far you can push things graphics-wise with DirectX11. Did they say anything about the system requirements yet?

You can improve their looks (and a lot of other graphic stuff) a bit by messing with the .ini files - for example making the game draw shadows on trees is switched off by default if I remember correctly and can be turned back on there. It won't make it look awesome but it helps.

The game is still growing up and we got a new trailer with original game music inside, so I think, it's time to update the thread with new stuff from SlightlyMad.
Looks like this game is going to become a true masterpiece and bring racing genre to a new milestone of realism.
Nicolas Hamilton (brother of Lewis Hamilton) is involved in development to create physics that are close to real. Finally they got the Porsche license and added some cars in the game. There's also a snowy track coming soon. The release is planned for the end of 2013, but I think it will be moved to early 2014.
