Launcher problem

Okay so here's the issue, I downloaded the game from Gamestop...registered the product, installed and then launched the program, no problem there but when it gets to the launcher it asks for the serial code, so input the code and begin playing the game....I saved and exited and when I went to play the game again it asks for the serial code again and did not save any of my progress, I do have the folder that has my player profile...but i can't access it at all, and it asks for the serial code every single time I start the game and deletes my previous files, any idea why. Thanks.

run the game as an administrator, this is definitely an operating system issue of some sort
