Anyone who thinks that parameter variable names require to be exactly the same as they are shown in the wiki article needs to learn more about programming.

I'm sorry, but when I arrived at these forums, I assumed that most of the scripters would know C++ (scripting) fairly well. I thought they would all be like YourComputer, and that I would be outclassed. I'm now beginning to realize that the few months of C programming I have, makes me pretty experienced around here.

Remember, the majority of us just enjoyed Amnesia and wanted to make something cool for the community in return, nothing more. (that was the case with me anyways)

There are a lot of guys on here who do know a fair bit about programming (YourComputer and Apjjm are just 2 examples of many)

I'm also a pretty advanced scripter. Maybe not like Jeniffer. But everytime i want to help, i get ninja'd. Well, much. I also find everything at the Engine Scripts page and do not need tutorials for it .

My original post was actually twice as "insulting". Just concluding that she needs to learn more, is pretty neutral. Parameters marks the line between just copying and pasting from other's works, and acually understanding what those lines mean. It's the line between quoting Spanish, and understanding Spanish. I'm sure that she's a pearl when it comes to helping out, but for her own sake, she needs to learn what those lines mean if she will ever be able to build upon what others write.
