hi guys i was playing some really cool mods and i saw some that had the description with a really cool background and all i know about it is that it has something to do with imgfile in the custom story settings folder i have been trying to figure it out for a while now like if u need a converter or anything but i would appreciate help very much

Loading screen background, or main menu background? If I'm not mistaken, both need a full conversion.

There's a file called 'story.png' in your custom story folder, replace it with any photo you want, the dimensions are 808x626.
If you change the name from 'story.png' to anything else, open up your custom_story_settings configuration file and change the name on ImgFile (first line) to the name. (E.G. ImgFile = "example.png")

Actually you can change the default main menu's background without a full conversion, although it's on your side, and for the original game.

i mean when you go to amnesia games and go to custom stories there is a list of mods to play example dark terror author mike and there is a box with a description about the game story and so on

yeah sorry i dont think i was clear enough basically before you start a custom story there is a description box with the author name at the top and the title of the custom game now what i want 2 do is have a background picture for that description box hopefully u im being clear enough

hey i checked in my custom stories folder and there is no story.png file all i have is my hps, map file, .lang file and my custom stroy settings unlees im in the wrong folder or something?

i dont know if this makes a difference but i didnt download my folder i made everything in it so i guessing thats why its not in their but i hardly know anything in this sort of area
