			| NPC support

I have been wondering, seeing as Amnesia is so mod friendly it would be incredible if NPC support could be added to the game. Its good to have voice acting, readables but it would really open up the modding possibilities to have NPC's rather than just 'the monster'. "Hallucination" themed mods would benefit greatly from this, seeing men wielding axes or other nasty implements, seeing people from your past ect It would add to the story themed mods rather than just having us imagine it all.I don't doubt the power of imagination but somethings can only really be shown to have the desired effect and it would add some variety. This is a game after all not a novel. There shouldn't be such a limitation put over it.

Its asking alot but we got to see a glimer of it in Justine. And maybe the sequel to Amnesia will have it and could be brought over to Amnesia TDD with some tinkering.

NPC support is already there. The way it is currently implemented may appear limited but can definitely be worked with to reflect NPCs from other games.

They should've added a way for us to script AI. That would be the best thing they could've done before stopping the development on Amnesia.

A Machine for Pigs will use an updated version of the HPL2 engine, Frictional's as of yet unnamed project will use HPL3.

NPC's are sort of used a bit in the Small Horse Custom Story. I'm not sure how they are used exactly, but for that, you can always ask the author of the CS.
