All i'd be interested in are solutions to issues encountered when exporting rigged and animated models.
Sure, write a post in the animations thread and hopefully I'll be able to resolve them.

what you could do is make a tutorial on youtube on how to animate and export it properly into the HPL.

there aint no tutorial for that yet ^^

So you're willing to make one tutorial on one specific export issue when only one person is interested in a solution, but you won't make a tutorial of common issues until many people are interested in it?

RE: Learning How To Model!

I think the animation export issue is caused by rotating or scaling the joints before the animation process. By that I mean the .dae file contains rotated joints. Obviously the .dae_anim can contain rotated joints (it cannot contain scaled joints though) but I remember reading that HPL doesn't support rotation before animation. I read this here.
I know ths is HPL 1 Documentation, but the same should apply for this engine.

Hm? I have stated that I'd be willing to make general/specific video tutorials if there was demand for that.

This is the thread I've made for exporting animations. Following that you should avoid "common issues". I'd rather build on that than make a new thread. Not quite sure I follow your logic.

Yes, I am very interested! Beng a visual learner, I learn best when I can see it in action. Also, a texturing tutorial would help too!

Dont get the 2012 version, you need the 2011 one or you'll get lots of problems!
You need to go here, this plugin is a must! http://opencollada.org/

NO! I was 48% on the 2012.. fail. Thank you though, otherwise I'd be pretty pissed to have to uninstall and re-install the other one.

I found a wonderful tutorial by the fabulous Acies using the infamous search bar!
