Amnesia fails to work.

Hello, my name is Nick. today i installed Amnesia: Dark Descent, and i have a desktop with 64x windows 7. my computer has all the needed requirements to run it, and i set all the qualities on low. I launch it, and when i finally enter the game, i can hear all the sounds, i can pause, and i can see the crosshair, but the environment doesn't show up at all. just a black screen with sounds and the crosshair. do i have it set at the wrong resolution? also, in the hpl.log, there are multiple warnings. please help ASAP. thank you.
