I'm liking this so far; I downloaded it yesterday and have spent a while at it so far, but some parts of it are frustrating me.

Everything is so unnecessarily dark. I have my gamma at 1.5 right now because without it I couldn't see a single thing. And after getting the Aqua...acid..thing...apparently a monster is supposed to spawn? Well, I never saw the monster, only the frayed screen edges letting me know I was staring right at it.

I'm not sure if that's purposeful, to give an element of suspense to "not knowing what you're supposed to be fearing", but I found it a little annoying, really. The first time I encountered the miner after getting the drill, I had no idea he was a monster. There wasn't a monster sound or anything, he was just pacing back and forth. I walked up to him to see if he was something I could interact with, and woosh, pickaxe to the face.

Besides the darkness, however, I am liking this story a lot. (I do wish those darn Penumbra spiders could be killed, though.) I'm looking forward to finishing it, as soon as I can find out what I'm supposed to do with this jar of acid. xD

Good map, liking the story a lot. Keep up the good work.

i know thats the light is a big problem for most of the guys
when i play a cs i can play it with out a lantern when im playen it on 1.00 gamma
i think its because of my screan its very bright ^^.
and when i build a map i dont know if its to bright now or to dark ^^.
so im sry for that.

and just think nobody is your friend in amneisa never never trust some one never xD.
and some monsters are randomly so may you get that scare effect but there will be no monster
just a screen effect.

+ Good and somewhat original level environments
+ Good Scares
+- new monsters is good... but they look really rushed and unprofessional... especially in the animations
+- save points... although original in amnesia... they get really annoying to moments that we have to turn of the PC at unexpected moments
- The voice acting could be better.
- Your story made no sense whatsoever!
