How annoyingly unspecific. What compiler are you using, what steps are you taking exactly and what does the error log say (post a copy)? I can't help you as I'm not experienced with large projects like this at all but unless you answer the questions above nobody can help you.

This engine is not designed in anyway to allow you to "install a binary" and make a game without a compiler.. you MUST have a compiler and be able to compile the engine and whatever game-code you write in C++ to support your game using that engine.
