Penumbra BP: Crash after intro

Solved: 8 Years, 9 Months, 3 Weeks ago Penumbra BP: Crash after intro

Okay so basically, i run the game and don't go through the tutorial, the intro screens come up and at the end it says loading... but after that, the game stops working. No crash/error report or anything. just simply stops working. If i run through the tutorial, I play all the way up to the point where I have to do sneaking. The game runs with no lag through the tutorial parts which i CAN play.

What's your graphics card?
Try to update driver and game (if not already done).

I tried it on a computer and laptop. The computer has an Intel® 82945G express chipset, runs at 256MB, laptop runs an intel® 4 Mobile chipset, runs at 1324MB. Both their drivers are updated

Your computer has 256MB memory?

What operating system do you have? Also 32-bit or 64-bit?

256MB graphics card, not HDD.
My operating system is 32-bit windows 7

You have a very old "graphics card" so for windows 7 this is the only and the last driver from Intel (from 2009):

I was going to advice you to update the game but since it's from Steam, it already had the update so it's no use. Follow plutomaniac's advice.
