Placing Small Lever Into Mount

I wanted to do a quick puzzle where the player has to find the small lever and place it onto the mount and when he pulls it up, a shelf opens up.

I don't know how to make the small lever appear on the mount once the player brings it. I also forgot how to enable a function if the lever is pulled up/down (If I remember, I think it had something to do with "alState" being 1 or -1?) I already know how to open the shelf, so no worries there.

Please help!!

RE: Placing Small Lever Into Mount

You can simply have an inactive working lever on top of the mount and have it set active when the lever collides with an area, preferably infront of the mount.

But then how would it be able to move up or down? It would just fall off (the lever on the mount). I tried that already and it just falls off. There is something else, which is the part I don't get.

No you misunderstood. You have 2 mounts on the same spot. 1 with a lever and 1 without. The one with a lever is set inactive. You put an area infront of the mounts and when the movable lever collides with that area IT, the active mount (the empty one) is set inactive and the one with the lever is set active.

Ohhh wait, I think I get you!

I'll come back with the results.

EDIT: It works! Thank you! Smile
