Error with video?

64 bit pc, Dell Inspiron N4110 (Laptop)

I got the game from the Humble Indie Bundle, downloaded through Steam, and everything seemed to work with the download and launch. However, when I start the game, the UI, loading screens, sound, and cross-hairs all work; however, everything else is completely black. I can still move around, interact with objects (such as the door), but I can't see anything. I reinstalled the game, and had the exact same problem. I imagine it's going to be hard to play the game like this. Any way to fix it?
