I can't get my costum stories

I downloaded a few coustom stories and I add them to the file were there suppose to go butwhen I go to my game there not in there...I beat the main game and i feel like that it wasn't enough so I was wanting to play differnet stories and i can't get them. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong here?

you suppose to put it in C:\Program Files (x86)\Amnesia - The Dark Descent\redist\custom_stories

I put it in the custom stories folder but it dosen't seem to work after i load the game up..more usless shit to download trying to have more fun if I can't get them to work

in your main folder of your story you supposer to create these thing
-entities folder

-maps folder
"name".hps
"name".map

-custom_story_settings.cfg

-extra_english.lang

Which custom stories are you trying to install? Some can't simply be placed in the custom_stories folder.

Well I got gary's dark secrates,Better place,And white night and non of them are working...but i just put them in the custom stories folder

Gary Dark Secrets and White Night are both full conversion mods. Better Place is probably one too, but the only link i can find to it is dead. Either way, full conversion mods don't belong in the custom_stories folder. Read the readme files that come with the stories. It should tell you what to do, or at least provide insight on how to install it.

If you have a steam version then you extract the CS folder into "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\amnesia the dark descent\Custom_Stories" else you should search for the redist file and find the Custom_stories Folder.That works only for customs stories!
For full conversions you just extract all the files into redist or amnesia the dark descentfolder and run a cmd(bat) file.
