Wow I remember these! I also had one with an animal too, raccoon I think it was... There were many of these games, I remember playing quite a few of them but I cannot remember any actual game, only fragments

Close Encounters of the Third Kind had me crying at the end.
And Jurassic Park was just... amazing.

Used to watch Jurrasic Park: The Lost World all the time.
Other films I remember well from childhood are The Faculty, and American History X.
