Mouse Cursor bang on the middle of the screen

My mouse cursor is on the middle of the screen and wont go away. This only happens on full screen mode.

The "game cursor" moves freely but the computer cursor is always in the middle, be it in the menus or during gameplay, its annoying.

I tried to disable steam overlay, updating drivers, different resolutions... no good...

On this other post people found a solution by killing the dwm.exe process, but I am on a Mac (that's a windows only solution)

If you check this video and skip to 2:30, that is how my game is.

I just tried downloading a torrent of the game and remove all the original game... didn't work.

I mean, the torrent worked, but the mouse is still in the middle...

This is a good lesson to download the torrent "version" before buying the game...

It looks like you tried to switch between windows while you had Amnesia in full screen mode; I believe one of the .dll files prevents movement of the mouse while the game is running. If you search the forum, there should be an answer. That's what you get for using pirated versions of a game, though.

Guys, before you go guns blazing on me, I did download a pirate game, because my original copy I bought on steam was not working. (nor the pirate btw)

So the only damaged here is me, that bought a flawed game. Specially because steam is a pain in the ass to return games...

And mac does not have dlls either...

This isn't necessarily an issue with the game itself. To hide the operating system mouse cursor, applications make OS system calls which has the operating system hide the cursor. It would appear the system is not acknowledging the game's request to hide the cursor (when in full screen mode). I'm not a Mac user, nor have i developed anything for Mac, so i'm not sure if there is a mouse setting that a user can enable on their system that prevents the cursor from hiding for full screen applications.

Well I have a lot of steam games and non of them has this problem.

Maybe your OS doesn't like to play nice with Amnesia.

Post details about what OS and hardware you are using + the hpl.log from ~/library/application support/frictional games/amnesia/. Giving 0 details gives you 0 chance of successful help.
