I don't know where I found all this games, but this one looks really great that I wanted to show this.
Slender is actually praised in the internet as a good shocking horror minigame.
When you liked the Slender game, I think you should take a look at this game:
I feel like these threads get hate instantly just because Googol posts them.
Anyways, the game looks great. I'm not one to complain or really even care about graphics, but CryEngine 2 (or 3?) is a massive upgrade from the blocky, borderline cartoon environment from the original Slender. The original game's Slender Man really just made me laugh, it looks ridiculous. Thanks for sharing, Googol.

The improved graphics are it's only redeeming quality, but it's still not an original concept. It looks like the gameplay is the exact same as Slender so what's the point?

I see what you're saying, but why would anyone openly choose a version that's clearly inferior? Even if it's nothing new/original, improvements are improvements. You have to take it at face-value, it's nothing more than a Slender v2.0. Based on what I've seen, I'd much rather play this one than the original.
Nintendo's Mario franchise does a similar thing. There is no new content, just improved graphics and smoother game play, and Nintendo still gets everyone to buy their "new" game and turns a massive profit. Even though all of the games are pretty much the same, any gamer (not influenced by Nostalgia) would pick the newest game because it is the most polished, and most likely the definitive version of its franchise.
