That would indeed be pretty damn lazy, but that doesn't make what you're saying any better. That's like saying "The cake I made is good because even though it tasted like shit another guy made a cake that was actually made of shit, and obviously since mine's not the worst it's good". Just looking at this thread I can tell you only have the bare bone minimum that's required in a map, you didn't seem to even try to think up a good story, and your scares are unoriginal, and to me that's pretty lazy.

Ever heard of a custom story called "House of creep 3"? all it has is teleporting naked guys every 30 seconds and poofers! and yet, it is very popular!

Can anybody say i atleast have potential???

Also, House of Creep is infamous around here. Do not use that as a guide. Please.

Alright... But i will always add atleast 1 teleporting naked guy! Because they are the most popular jumpscares and a custom story isn't a custom story... Without teleporting naked guys xD

I think everyone here has made it clear that they do not like pointless jumpscares, especially not flying jesuses.

Feel free to add as many of those jumpscares as you want. Just do not expect to get a good "name". Because in short, those "jumpscares" are unoriginal and shit. Sorry, I'm tired of sugar coating things.

If you want your custom story to be a serious one, AND have jumpscares in it, use jumpscares that at least make sense in the setting of the custom story.

As for a hand falling from the sky, I'd think I'd laugh my ass off at that rather than be scared.

Same. I'd prefer less jumpscares as it is a cheesy, lazy fear tactic, but sometimes it can be done right. For one, it must be original. And two, it has to be relevant to the story.
