But he's not the only one talented composer who makes people cry.
But OK, when you mean it's just connected to Mikko Tarmia, we all know his talent and his amazing soundtracks.

I know there is other composers who can make me try to other than Mikko, like some of Nintendo's composers, Sucker Punch's composers (A game company that made the Sly Cooper Trilogy.), etc.
But for this thread I just want to specifically discuss about Mikko Tarmia's work.
In terms of music, I liked Penumbra A LOT more than Amnesia. Amnesia's all scary and ambient while Penumbra's soundtrack consists of more emotional, melodic type of songs.
Compare the main menu music of Penumbra with that of Amnesia, and you'll know what i'm talking about!
OOOH YES, Back Hall and Requiem ending have the most emotional and melancholic music I ever heared in a game. Mikko is even greater than Mozart or Beethoven. He is a miracle like all the other guys from Frictional!
This music is art, Penumbra & Amnesia are art. Mikko & Frictional Games are art. They are GOD.

Hey, Mikko isn't better than Mozart or Beethoven, they are just different. Mozart and Beethoven were the "Hit" of the time, and, frankly, their music is really good. Mikko Tarmia makes cool music too, but it's a lot different. It's ambient music, not tracks like Mozart, for example.
Plus, no music is better than another one. Except some songs which I'm not going to say directly:
