Lightbulb  Scary note Ideas

Can anyone give me on an idea for a creepy note like a three or four line poem thing because a brute drops a note and then a key is hidden and I want a good creepy not saying he hid it.

Also I want to know how to make the key spawn randomly instead of the same spot. I saw this done on the darkroom but it looks confusing and want it simplified.

Any advice or help appreciated.

RE: Scary note Ideas

You can do this for the key:

SetEntityActive("key_"+RandInt(1, 30), true);

Make the desired keys, and adjust the RandInt to your liking.

I have constructed a poem which is coherent with the english format found in most custom stories. Every second line rhymes.

"I hid key.
you never going to find.
there, sweetie.
pick it up, i spawn from behind."

No matter what you say...
No matter what you do...
It is lurking in the shadows...
It is coming to find you...

I rate it 3 memes.

What lurks around
With a shadow as cape?
What was that sound?
You will never escape!

RE: Scary note Ideas

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Of the blood the ancients shed
With a head as a clue

They killed him
As same as the others
That went to the steam
That converted them into gatherers

I'm not really good at poetry, do I?

So in your custom story, the grunt is a poet gone mad?
...or is there even a story, or an explanation for the grunt?

"I am a generic monster.
I write generic verse.
God knows why I'm here.
BTW, here's a key."
