Game will not start.

Amnesia refuses to start up for me. I meet all requirements that I know of and have tried all of the possible solutions offered in the troubleshooting threads. Nothin'.

This is the message I receive: FATAL ERROR: Renderer #0 could not be initialized! Make sure your graphic card drivers are up to date. Check log file for more information.

My drivers are up to date. I tried updating them about five times and kept getting told that they were already up to date. And as I said, I tried everything else offered. xD Nothing has helped.

1. I have Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit.
2. I have a laptop; Samsung RV711.
3. HPL.log will be attached here.

I purchased it from Steam.

You updated your drivers using this method, correct?

Intel HD is not supported for Amnesia. There is your problem

Otherwise, try running with all lowest settings

Your drivers are not updated, use the have disk method as mentioned in the sticky AMD+Intel HD guide

Non dedicated igp doesn't do opengl all that well.
Do you have a dedicated graphics card in your laptop as running it on that would solve the problem.
Nvidia cards have the option to run applications on both igp as dedicated.

I am using this file. As I have Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 Bit. :I I follow of the instructions on the troubleshooting sticky topic thing. I get this:

I would like some help. ;; Or, a better suggestion of what .zip file I should use if you think that is the problem.

try downloading an earlier version of the driver from some months back and try that
