Can you guys recommend something like the ones I mentioned please? Something with a slice-of-life feel to it, but with a bit of fairy tale too. Very vague, I know, I suck at explaining.

I think Spice and Wolf might be a good choice. It's not my cuppa tea, personally, but it sounds similar to what you describe.
Edit: Moribito, Guardian of the Spirit is one I'd recommend.

I've finally watched it. And i have to say that it was good.
Not as good as the other Ghibli movies though.
There were things i liked and things i didn't like so much, which is rare for Ghibli movie.
That maybe the biggest con for the movie.

I would still give it a 7,5/10.

I finally understand the hype of madoka series. It isn't anything what you could see everyday in the anime world or in the media world in general.
Mahou Shoujo Tv-Series and including all the movies (yes, i've watched the third one too), is masterpiece and unforgettable exprience.
The Tv-series ranked to my personal top 10 Tv-series and the third movie ranked being the best anime movie of all time, which is an excellent achievement.
But i wouldn't recommend this show to anyone thuogh, not to simple minded, the third movie can be, what someone would say: "a mindfuck". Mindfuck but in a
brilliant way. I am glad that this kind of art still exists among the
simplier inviduals imo. (maybe the evangelion was enough?)
Anyway without furhter ado, the tv series gets a 9.5/10 and
the movie 10/10 on 1 to 10 scale.

If you're wondering how i watched the third movie, well, the exprience
left a little partial, it was a refilmed video of the movie and the audio, videoquality and the viewing angle suffered.
I watched it on PinoyAnimeTv if you ask, but i think there are
better versions of the film out there in the magical world of internet.
