RE: The (not BL but) Anime Thread
Hey guys, I have a new idea for an anime. The name is ”大きい猫” (Ooki Neko). It's going to be a short 12-episode show.
In the first episode, a feeble stray cat is wandering the streets when a kind looking girl picks it up and takes the cat to her home. Over the next two episodes, the show alternates between the perspective of the girl and the cat. The girl and her onii-chan run a business, while the cat stays in bed and gets progressively fattened.
On episode 4, the cat is surprisingly gone. The whole episode is about the girl and her brother working at a meat processing factory. Then they take shifts as vendors at the same factory, where they sell "packaged fat."
The next episode, the factory is swarmed with new customers as they arrive to buy the delicious packages, which reputably taste good with ramen. The girl concludes that her business is a success, and the episode ends with her saying that she needs to "acquire more."
Episode 6 starts with another stray cat, once again picked off the streets by the same girl. This time, there are a lot more cats in her house. The next several episodes follow these cats' adventures around their new home. The owners are nice and constantly feed all the cats food. Some of the cats become bloated and can't move out of bed.
On episode 8, a few of the cats begin to disappear. Episode 9, the main character cat hears machinery down in the basement, but the entrance door is bolted shut. Some of the cats sneak into the basement, but they do not return. Finally, episode 11, the main character cat is the only one left. Due to overfeeding, it is truly an enormous cat. It struggles to find a way to escape the house, but the episode ends with the owners dragging this cat down into the basement.
Episode 12, the finale, shows a montage of scenes. The girl and her onii-chan's business is growing ever more popular selling their "packaged fat", so much that they have begun franchising. Around the world, services have been set up to clean stray cats off the streets and deliver them to Japan. The rest of the episode reveals how consumers use the "packaged fat."
In a faraway campus, a delicious food known as "Neko Ramen" sweeps over students like a storm.
Meanwhile, in America, internet web artists open up a delivery of this "packaged fat," and uses its contents to begin drawing. The artist names its new creation "Pusheen."
The episode and the show ends with an epitaph to all the stray cats of the world, lamenting their inescapable fate of becoming "Ooki Nekos".

Go and tell that to some anime producers, they'll most likely find it kawaii.
Or food producers.
And what the actual f*ck again? How much did you put time to think somehting like that? That was dark yet brilliant.
Actually i had a little spark for an anime idea too, but it's just a little draft.
There's a rest home.
In that house lives an old retired detective and an old retired burglar.
These two will tell stories about their past, about their experiences and mishaps. These two have dementia, so they don't remember everything correctly.
In the end it turns out that the retired burglar was the one the detective was tracking down his whole career, but failed.
There's something to think, but that would be it in a nutshell.

Watching some Higurashi, and while this clearly isn't the type of anime, I'd like to see some yaoi between Keichii kun and his senpai, Satoshi.

Watch the Higurashi Kira OVA, you'll get your fix right there.
Along with 10 year-old-girls rubbing their butts on windows, fanservice, and all sorts of nonsense *shudders*

Brynhildr In The Darkness has been actually quite decent so far, regardless of the fanservice and the clichés of course.
i would recommend people who are familiar with Elfen Lied franchise to give a change.
And maybe even those who has a fetish on witches.

In Higurashi, all of Keiichi-kuns friends are girls. And the only boy he befriends (the baseball guy) worships him.
This means he's gay, right?

Given his antics, and reactions I'd say he's definitely NOT gay, at least not completely.
