RE: PS4 Revealed
The last time I really played Playstation was to play Silent Hill 2, 3, and 4. One of the things that stops me from being a Playstation fan is the god-awfully uncomfortable controllers... =[

Why does everyone ask about bans?... Isn't that supposed to be a private matter?

RE: PS4 Revealed
To put it simply, it was because he seems to bring up many arguments that rile up many members, causing unnecessary drama. Once or twice is forgivable, but it's repetitive. This is also the second time he's stated he is leaving the forums because the members here do not have familiar interests as him, and insults anyone who doesn't agree with his opinions (if someone wants to play CoD, let them. If they play casually, let them. the insults of those two for example are unnecessary). I grew tired of the opinionated arguments and insults. 2 months. There's a bit more to it, but he stated he's gone anyway, so I don't see why it matters.
Now, back on the topic.

RE: PS4 Revealed
Alright then allow me to be the one to start bringing this back on its rails:
The main reason that a non-console owner like me is finding getting a console appealing is for several reasons I've cooked up inside my head:
1. Requires little maintenance on keeping an eye that hardware/software is up to date, thus easier gaming even if it means less customization.
2. Console exclusives
3. Some games just are better suited to be controlled with a controller on consoles. I've felt this with many PC ports that have games that are obviously designed to be played with a controller. Sometimes it's not even because of poor porting, it's just how the game was made in the first place.
What do you guys think?

I agree with you on number 3.
Some games are better suited with controllers to make it more easier to play (Ex. Castle Crashers).
I don't really know about number 1 and 2.

Well, that's why I bought a wired 360 controller to use for some games. Some games are just so much more enjoyable using a controller. I've used it for Darksiders 2, The Walking Dead, and Dark Souls (main reason why I decided to buy a controller). I never use it for games that involve any type of precision, though, like FPS's.. because then I suck so much and have no fun
