Custom Story made by the whole community.

Hi guys,
I was wondering something... Has there ever been a custom story made by the whole community? I mean that everyone could make a map and add it to the story. And that one or a few people make up the history.

there has been a couple 24 hour stories were people could make maps and they would be accesable from a hub withing the story.

To be honest, no not really. The only reason that one even worked out was cause Cry was the person hosting it, all other attempts by normal users have failed.

My dear Mr. Jiersk, I admire your vision. I truly do. But I assure you that there's not enough modders in the community to make such CS. That rather depends on who we called modders.

And modders are either scripters, mapmakers, entity-builder or designer. Such knowledge CANNOT be put into one modder.

I feel that there'd be to many people working on the same story. Just because there's alot of people working on something doesn't mean it will be great. There would be vart differences between scripters and map makers. One may be able to only do the very basics of scripting or mapping. Only being able to do simple door-key-scripts whilst another scripter could re-create amnesia. The differences would be to great.

Well those previous projects were 24 hour ones, it might be possible to do something bigger if people had more time that is.
