Cant focus on one CS?

Anyone else have a problem like mine?I have like 3 custom stories right now in developement and just keep getting new ideas for stories.I have trouble finishing my projects it seems.Kinda stresses me out.

That's why the whole time I've been working on mine (and yes I am still working on it, in fact I just got a large chunk of work done tonight so stfu about the "omg ur mod is ded" crap) I never started anything new. If you do then you're bound to run into that issue cause you'll never have one main thing to focus on. I'd suggest trying to find ways to incorporate ideas/content from all your different ones into the one you want to focus most on (though don't try to force anything, only add things if the map/idea fits into the story of the mod you're adding it to).

When I get tired of my custom story, I just pause it for 1 or 2 days. I watch some videos (Markiplier or yamimash play alot of amnesia custom stories) to get my inspirational flow going. After 1, maybe 2 days I start building again. This usually works for me.

Yeah, sometimes I get this problem. Like when focusing on building a map, there's always new ideas popped up into my head. It just keeps popping until I stressed out and give up on my map. Took me several months to get back to mapping.
Now I'm still thinking about the story for my CS now. But still, new ideas keep spamming to my head and makes me want to make a new CS and forget the old one.

I feel like that too.

Write down the ideas... maybe you'll find out that they weren't as good as you thought, or you'll find out they will be really awesome!

Kinda stresses me out that the new engine and machine for pigs is coming out.I'm afraid people wont be interested in my stories then.

Wait 2-3 months after it came out, then people will need more custom stories Big Grin

Hopefully re-making the mods won't be too complicated since it's a modified version of the same engine. In the very least, if you do have to remake it entirely, it'll take way less time if you're copying what you've done before.

As long as we copy the assets and the map format has not been changed(too much) we should be good.
Actually I even have a feeling we might be able to load some AAMFP maps in the current engine though you might get a few bugs.

I got 2 myself working on that I finds it gets too much stress for me, I can't even find an release date since im not even close to an announce of my 2 stories (been working on it since tools came out). Anyway, back to topic I guess.

Best is to write down your ideas and take a break some days if you finds it too much stress for you.
