Hello, I am trying to run Amnesia on my Microsoft Surface Pro. Whenever I enter the game, the settings options go through no problem. The problem arises when I click on new game. The music continues to play and the opening scene never starts. I have waited for upwards of 5 minutes but nothing.

I have been through the support thread and tried the have disk method to correct this. What can I do to fix the problem?

I am running on Windows 8 Pro (not sure how many bits, doesn't say). It is a tablet/laptop hybrid. Here is my HPL file.

Surface is a tablet, a Windows 8 one but still you cannot play Amnesia with a touch interface.

I have the type cover though. I should be able to use the integrated keyboard and mouse pad shouldn't I? And even if I couldn't, wouldn't the game still load?

Well as you said in theory it is a desktop so it should run. Make sure your Intel HD drivers are fully updated from intel.com using the have disk method. The latest drivers, as of now, are 15.31.3.3071 (9.17.10.3071).
