I don't think there's any concrete way to really ever stop this from happening.
Just look at Skashi's stories, or the Small Horse series. They've been able to get tons of models from an abundance of locations, also including other commercial games.

Yeah. We should post a Rule to not use models from other games (Except FG games duh) unless given permission.

There is an unofficial rule here at the forums about "stolen" models from other people or commercial games and it's very simple: They are not allowed.

Like that Bioshock model in that German custom story even though it wasn't allowed it was quite good glad I snagged it before it was removed.

As far as I'm aware games can sort of encrypt the game files to stop this from happening. I think A:TDD did this when it was first released until the modding tools were released? Not sure as I didn't get A:TDD until after this. I might be talking out of my ass though

I meant that it's hard to outright "make impossible" to happen. Not that it was hard to make not allowed.

Yeah, but both stole models from other games.

What do you imagine when you listen to "Mors Praematura"?
What do you picture when you hear the Mors Praematura song? I always image dead pig monsters rising up and looking around.
For those who haven't heard the song- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fkVvNMuJsA
