I remember Dan saying in the 1st may Q&A that there would be other npcs besides monsters.
Yeah, but I doubt there'll be any direct contact.
Exactly, it's not saying much. Alexander floating around and Agrippa attached to his contraption could be considered talking npc.

Agreed! Its also pointless to implement custom stories in aamfp because it's almost the same HPL engine they used for TDD.

Yeah, but I doubt there'll be any direct contact. Maybe people fleeing from the monsters or Oswald Mandus himself. You play as Oswald?...
And this little piggy went wee wee wee wee wee..

Correct. Only the main game is important.

Since hearing about other NPC's in the game, I honestly hoped this wasn't true. I pray we don't have other people in the game we're talking to and interacting with. It would COMPLETELY take away the feeling of being alone and stranded, desperate without nothing but you and your own mind in the darkness. I would be 90% less scared if I had people around me the whole time, it's a huge mistake. Now if it's just us running into someone every so often, like the little kid you see running through a hall in one of the teasers, trying to get away from you. Or mysteriously showing up every so often even, I think that would be kind of creepy and cool.
Patiently awaiting Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs...

We had Red to talk to us in Overture
We had the lovely redhead doctores in Black Plague
We had dr Emenis talking to us in Requim
We had Agripa talk to us but the game was called amnesia so we also had Daniel himself and Alexander talking to us.
It wouldn't be anything strange

RE: Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs Discussion Topic Part 2
I added a new subcategory to the Info Portal, "Misidentified, Fan-Made or Fake Media". It's for pointing out images/videos which are believed to be related to AAMFP but are either fakes or something unrelated. If anyone has any examples of this that I haven't already listed let me know
I was prompted to add this subcategory after seeing this VG247 article which apparently believes that image of a pig monster to be from AAMFP. That piece of artwork was actually from 2010, before AAMFP was even conceived of!
Hardarm gets an honourable mention, of course
