Someone walks up to you and says they have a million dollars for you, but you can't know when you will get it. Would drive ya mad wouldn't it?

Patiently awaiting Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs...

I can only speak for myself, but I love "counting down" the days towards something I enjoy very much! It's like the Countdown for Christmas Smile

You wake up each day like "only XX days left" and it's something I (and probably others) enjoy Smile

This wasn't for nothing, this distraction gave TCR time to order their new 20 meter tall Adolf Hitler statue to place outside their office to display that they are an evil company who despise all things good.

Still hasn't gotten over the loss of wubwub...

THANK YOU.

And I feel like I am more mature now than back when I was 14.

I think it would be wise to just be grateful you're getting anything at all.

Personally, I'd like a release date so I can ask off work and play the game from start to finish... Unless it happens to be released on a Friday. I just need to know what it is two weeks in advance.

If I were to predict a date, though, I'd say Halloween. Can't put my eggs in the "before the autumn equinox" basket.

Getting a release date makes the waiting easier. Otherwise we get restless and start over-analyzing everything as well as just guessing release dates ourselves.

Actually, I have a really good example of why a release date might be good. Not saying "GIVE US ONE" - Just explaining a situation where it would really have made sense:

5 days ago, Ken Levine tweeted a cropped picture of a Devil's Kiss vigor bottle, an obvious hint that replicas would go on sale. However, the only mention afterward was yesterday when they abruptly went on sale. 500, 50 of them signed. Unsigned $350, signed $600. A release date would have made sense on this - Who is going to have THAT much money prepared in advance. Not that AAMFP will have a money problem, but sometimes you want to tell people when stuff is happening...

One other thing about that: I ran the display images for the vigor bottle through an EXIF website, and apparently they were taken back in February. So he had until then to announce them. Even if all that time was spent painsteakingly making them, so much time to warn people to save up... Dang...

Point being, a release date (along with minor other information) would help the fans prepare.
